What made the Assyrians rise to power is also what made them unique they were some of the first to adopt strong heavily armored war chariots. The Assyrians where a strict militaristic people used to warfare because of their nomadic background. They conquered countless citie states but fell to their puppet Babylon after years of supression of the Babyloaians. -

The Babylonians where polytheist people with very strict traditional society with a strict hierarchy. The Babylolians where conquered by the assyirans until they rose up in nieva and conquerd the Assyrians capital and founded Neo Babyloania.
