The 1960's style was influenced by military uniforms. Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix sported the military coat style. In 1967 the Beatles wore a neon form of military jacket. Soon after this, military jackets became very popular in stores and second hand stores. -
Peacock Revolution
In the 1970's, styles became brighter and bolder. The peacock revolution (early 1970's) made it acceptable for men to wear brighter and bolder colors. -
Air Jordans
In the 80's Nike had grown to one of the most profitable clothing companies. Michael Jordan partnered with Nike and by 1988 every kid had a pair of his sneakers. -
The Grunge Look
In the 90's, thrift stores and flannel shirts were popular. The younger generation was going through their dad's clothes to scrounge up some old-worn out-clothing. Sounds a lot like the younger generation today
