    The “greaser” style became a hit for casual wear and even could be crossed over into more formal gear. This involved leather jackets,jeans, high socks and sneakers.

    There were 2 big styles the start of the “hippy” gear and the sleek look put on by many celebrities of the time such as the Beatles.

    The “hippy” gear and colorful patterns took over fashion for both males and females. Bell bottom pants also started during this time period.

    There were 2 major categories in the 80s. One was more suits and the other was more casual with lots of patterns and jeans.

    When I think of the 1990s I immediately think of flannel and jeans. The grunge look was a huge hit in the 1990s along with any other fashions.
