The “greaser” style became a hit for casual wear and even could be crossed over into more formal gear. This involved leather jackets,jeans, high socks and sneakers. -
1960s
There were 2 big styles the start of the “hippy” gear and the sleek look put on by many celebrities of the time such as the Beatles. -
1970s
The “hippy” gear and colorful patterns took over fashion for both males and females. Bell bottom pants also started during this time period. -
1980s
There were 2 major categories in the 80s. One was more suits and the other was more casual with lots of patterns and jeans. -
1990s
When I think of the 1990s I immediately think of flannel and jeans. The grunge look was a huge hit in the 1990s along with any other fashions.
