World War 2 was over and Berlin divided into the American, British, West French, and East Soviet. The people didn't not like what happened because they were separated from family and friends. -

The Soviet Military made a demarcation line to split the East from the West, Germany was now a safeguard. -

The Interzonenpass valid was required for 30 days to travel between the sectors of Germany. -

The two currency zones were made to divide Berlin. It was important because it created two different countries. -

This day the Federal Republic of West Germany was founded. It was when they were formally separated from their countries. -

A year later they ended the Berlin Airlift, it was one of the greatest logistical feats in modem history. -
East Germany
What happen to the West side of Germany also happened to the East side. The East id the Democrats and west is the Republic. -
Boarder
A boarder was made in between West and East Germany and between East Germany and West Berlin.The only boarder that is open is between East and West Berlin. -
Workers
The workers of East Berlin were against the impositions of increasing work norns. The people who stooped them were the Red Army and they brought their tanks. -
Western Powers
The Western Powers abandon the interzonenpass, the East Germany people needed permission to travel to the West side. -
Leaving East Gremany
Leaving the East of Germany was forbidden without permission will get you three years in prison. -
Sectorial Border
The sectorial border between East and West of Berlin was closed and then barriers were built. -
Brandenburg Gate
A day later from when the border were built the Brandenburg Gate was closed. -
President J. F. Kennedy
President J. F. Kennedy visited Berlin and he said "Ich bin ein Berliner." ("I am a Berliner."). -
President Ronald Reagan
President Ronald Reagan visited Berlin and he urges the Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall. -
Berlin Wall
On this day the Berlin Wall opened. -
Brandenburg Gate
This is the day that the Brandenburg Gate reopened. -

All of Germany was reunited on this day and they became one.
