In the 1920's hockey was a Canadian sport, that instantly became popular in Canada. Hockey was considered Canada's national game, as the popularity for the sport rapidly increased. During the 1920's, NHL was formed for Canadian athletes. NHL became an instant success, because many spectators enjoyed watching hockey. When WW1 had ended, many people were excited to watch hockey. Hockey became a sport that every Canadian loved. -

When Charles Lindbergh crossed the Atlantic Ocean by himself in an airplane. The success of the airplane in the 1920s made the airplane one of the most important inventions of the 1920s. -
Women gained the right to vote
On August 18th, 1920, the 19th amendment granted women the right to vote. The 19th amendment guarantees all American women have the right to vote. Achieving this milestone required a lengthy and difficult struggle victory took decades of agitation and protest. -
Ada Mackenzie
Mackenzie paved the way for women to take golf seriously by founding the first club restricted to women, the ladies golf and tennis club, in Thornhill. In May 1925 Mackenzie only played high standards. She won the ont ladies amateur title 9 times and the Canadian ladies open amateur 5 times.
