It was made in Greece. I chose this piece because it shows people doing athletic events. A huge part of Ancient Greece was the founding of the Olympics. The Olympics is such a big part of the worlds culture as a whole to this day. -

It was made in Greece. I picked this piece because the greeks were very well known for making their statues of their symbols of perfect people (gods). This statue actually represents victory. Most of their statues were sclupted without arms or legs. this one happens to be headless as well. -

It was made in Greece. I chose this piece because the Greeks were known for their warfare and this is a peice of armor that would have been used by one of their soldiers. This really shows how much technology has changed from then to now. -

It was made in Egypt. I chose this piece because whenever I think of what most represents Ancient Egypt to me it is the sacred animal the cat. This piece is actually a mummified cat placed inside the casing that has a seam running down the center. -

It was made of wood and painted in bright colors.
It was made in Egypt. I chose this piece because gods are a huge part of what differentiated ancient times from modern times. This statue is of Anubis. Anubis was the embalmer god or god of the mummification process. The preparation for the afterlife was very important to the Egyptian culture.
