The reason for the crusades was to regain the holy land and the Pope Urban II encouraged people to go on them. Some of the benifites were Europes trade expanded , but many Muslims and Jews were killed. -

Pope Innocent III and German king decided that only the pope could choose the bishops, but only the king could give government jobs. -

The Parliment was the first step toward a representative government. First it was made up of two kinghts, two people ,and all high ranking nobles. Then it was split into two houses. High-ranking nobles and church officials as the house of lords. Then knights and townspeople in the house of commons. -
