  • University of Notre Dame

    University of Notre Dame
Only a week after being in Medora, we went on vacation to Maryland. We drove the whole way, so we stopped at a few places along the way. We ended up visiting the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
  • Liberty Bell

    Liberty Bell
Before we did anything in Maryland, we stopped in Philadelphia. There was so many homeless men, women, and children there. We ended up going to see the liberty bell, which isn’t actually outside like many people think.
  • Washington DC

    Washington DC
We explored DC on a really hot day. We walked everywhere, I chased a pigeon, I threw a coin into a fountain and made a wish, and ended the day walking back to the train station in the rain to go back to our hotel in MD.
  • Holocaust Museum

    Holocaust Museum
My mom asked me if there was anything I wanted to do while in DC, and I of course chose to go to the Holocaust Museum. It was sad and made my heart very heavy, but it was interesting to see everything there.
  • Eternal Flame

    Eternal Flame
At the Holocaust Museum, they have the Eternal Flame —.a flame that never goes out — in the Hall of Remembrance. It is surrounded by hundreds of other lit candles.
  • Washington Monument

    Washington Monument
We got to see the Washington Monument before we left. I felt very small looking up at it.
  • Chesapeake Bay

    Chesapeake Bay
We went to the Chesapeake Bay in MD, and my sister decided she wanted to bury me in the sand. I got stung my a jellyfish while I was in the water.
  • Atlantic Ocean

    Atlantic Ocean
We went to the ocean for the first time. I kept getting water in my mouth and it was absolutely disgusting.
  • Little sister

We finally got back home and I got to see my little sister. She missed me soooo much.
