The Battle of the Alamo
The Alamo lasted 13 days, Feburary 23 to March 6, 1836. The texans were fighting against the mexicans. The mexicans were leaded by President General Antonio López de Santa Anna. The Texans defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the revolution. -
The California Gold Rush
The California Gold Rush began on January 24, 1848, when gold was found by James W. Marshall at Sutter's Mill in Coloma, California. It lasted for 7 years. People all over the world traveld here and left there families to try to find some gold. -

Abraham Lincoln was shot on the evening of April 14, 1865, as he sat in the presidential box at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. Confederate spy/actor named John Wilkes Booth shot Araham Lincoln in the head. -

9/11 was when the twin towers were hit with planes that were hijacked by Terrorist. Tere was also two other plane crashes one was in Washington D.C, the Pentagon and the other was in a empty feild in Pennsilvanya. People think the plane was trying to hit another building ,but they think the passengers fought against the hijacker and landed in the feild. -

Apollo 11 was the spaceflight which landed the first humans, Americans Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Neil Armstrong was the first person to step on the moon. -
