What is maya week?
Every year in Colegio Maya happen's a event called maya week. In this week all grades from 1 to 12 grade make a project that is involved about the mayans and their traditions. There are three types of projects that the students can develop during this week: making a door decoration based on the respective ruins that have been assigned to each grade, making a presentation about the ruins and their culture, and making a video about the same topics of the presentations. -

What are tribes
The same day of the presentation we did an activity that the school had developed in the last year,The tribes.The tribes are four teams that consist of fire,earth,wind and water.These teams were chosen at random for each highschool student. After the teams were chosen they start making competitions throughout the year that consist of teamwork and cooperating with the members of the tribes, at the end of the year the tribe with the most points gets a prize.
