The Ninth Circuit Court Rules The Pledge of Allegiance to be Unconstitutional
The Ninth Circuit of North Caronlina ruled The Pledge of Allegiance to be unconstitutional because the words 'under God', added in 1954, promote monotheism. The senate quickly ruled 99-to-1 in favour of The Pledge. This court decision demonstrates the role of political correctness in today's world. Clearly, opinions differ widely on various topics of controversy, and finding a solution that finds offense with no one proves difficult

    The Great Recession

When banks stopped issuing such incredible loans, the house market decreased, and many people found they owed significantly more on their mortgage than their houses were now worth. Businesses closed or cut back employees, leading to massive unemployment.
