First Working Television
Philip Farnsworth created the first working television that was capable of accessing channels and displaying them. This also became a part of many households. Families could now visually see the news, sports, and other entertainment. -
The Internet Becomes Commercialized
Restrictions on the internet had been removed, allowing for anyone to access the internet. The internet made it possible for people to access any information on the internet, from anywhere on the world with access to the internet. Communication was made much easier from the internet. -

Smartphones make it possible to communicate not only to people like traditional phones, but also to the internet and many other applications. Facebook Launches
Mark Zuckerberg created Facebook in order for college students to instantly communicate with each other. Facebook then spread to the public and many people joined. Facebook allows for anyone to instantly communicate to anyone that the user chooses.
