    During the time of his exploration Juan discovered and explored Florida. While he was in Florida he was looking for the famous Fountain of Youth, which never existed. He brought with him African slaves and meet with the Rican Indians. He died by an enemy's arrow while in Florida, but thanks to him the spanish establish a tie to the area

    Giovanni de Verrazano gets hired
    During the French's time they commissioned Giovanni to go and explore the Atlantic Coast. The reason for this was the French was trying to find a new route through Asia. While during his exploration he was able to map out the land between North And the Newfoundland.

    The turn around of Panfilo Narvaez
    Panfilo was just another explorer looking for fame and money. Him along with 600 men go explore the world to find new adventures. However, all of their ideas took a big hit when all of their ships got hit by a massive hurricanes. As a result of the casualties, only four out of the 600 men, including Panfilo and someone named Alvar Nunez Cabez de Vaca, survived and had to use a raft to get to land. Finally reaching land, he discovered Texas by accident.

Like Louis Joliet and Jacques Marquette discovering a village in Chicago. Also a person by the name of Robert De La Salle named a region that was at the mouth of the river after the French king Louis XVI. He named the river Louisiana

    During this time indians carried out attacks against other civilians and the government was not doing enough to suppress it. So Nathaniel Bacon gathered people to fight back against the Indians. However Governor.Berkeley said no to his idea. Bacon did not listen and civil war broke out between both of the groups.

    The most painful hit to Boston. During the winter time kids were using snowballs to pelt soldiers, so the soldiers were about to retaliate but the citizens interfered and there was a crowd. After many minutes of shouting a British commander ordered his soldiers to fire. A total of five colonists died including a freedom slave.

    The British only allow the colonists to purchase tea from only the British East India Company. The Colonist were mad so one night when all the colonists were gathered in one place, a sign was given to those who were participating in the action. So they dressed up as Indians and invaded the British ships that were carrying the tea. After they took the ships over they tomahawk the crates and dump the tea into the sea. The response from the British was to close the port of Boston.

    There was a small chance of hope to bring everyone together. So a meeting place was set up for the main responders from each state, except Georgia, gathered in Philadelphia and the meeting started in September 9, 1774 and ended in October 10, 1774. Even though there was no real talk about war or independence, they did agree to ban on British imports in 1775, a immediate ban on British tea and agreed to meet again if things did not go as planned.

    After the war many people in Massachusetts suffer the after effects of it. The main group of people who suffered the most were former soldiers, also many other residents suffered to. When the citizens demanded economic relief, the legislature refuse. So to try to solve their problems a guy named Daniel Shay gathered armed farmers and try to overthrow the states government. Unfortunately Shay's forces were suppress by the states militia.

    Due to the fact that none of the states had the money to keep the power of their citizens, they were in enormous debt. So they decide to hold another convention. The goal of this meeting was to revise the Article of Confederation and to get more radical governments.

    In 1787, a the meeting of congress a handful of people disagreed or agreed on what the constitution had to offer. Some agreed with it cause of it their would be a strong government handling their state. Now the other people who disagreed with it said that if their was a government that was too strong that it will take away their civilian rights and the power of the state. So after the arguments they finally ratified the constitution.

    During this time the United States finally voted a leader of office. That persons name was George Washington. Washington was chosen cause of his great leadership in the pass battles he had won. John Adams was also trying to run for president , but George blew him away so he became the vice-president. Now Washington could not run this country all by him self so he hired some men to help him out and those men were the following: Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, Henry Knox and many more.

    In the Ohio valley, Indians led by Joseph Brant were attacking settlements of the white people cause they were in their territory. So General Anthony Wayne led a military force to handle the Indians. Anthony was given the nickname "mad" cause the way he leads his army. So after a great battle General Wayne defeats the Indians and then Joseph Brant signed the Treaty of Grenville, which resulted in the Indians to stop fighting.

    During the 1800's people from all over the world started to move into the New World to either start a new life over escape from their original country. There was a problem though, the new land was to small to house all of these people that are coming from over seas. So Thomas Jefferson sent Robert Livingstone and James Monroe to go to Spanish territory, which was Louisiana, and buy it from Napoleon. He agreed to sell it to us for $15 million and Jefferson agreed to the deal.

    After the successful purchase of Louisiana, the country has this huge territory that has enough space to house all of these people coming into the land, but all of that territory was unexplored. So two men by the names Meriweather Lewis and William Clark set out to explore the new territory for everybody. During their exploration they need help going though it so they meet a Indian woman named Sacagawea. She joined Lewis and Clark on their adventure in North Dakota to help them on their journey.

    After a few years of the purchase there was still fighting in the country. So the British made their move in Washington D.C. So the British went into D.C and started to burn everything in the state including the executive mansion where president James Madison and his wife Dolly lived in. Luckily they both were able to escape before the British came and burned it all to the ground.

The reason for this invention was people clothes were starting to get uncomfortable, worn out and people only had one thing to wear. Thanks to his invention cotton was more easy to acquire cotton instead by picking it by hand and then they need slaves to do the picking for them. The slaves were force to migrate where the cotton farms were and a massive amount of families were separated

    During the time in order for Missouri to become a state they first had to pay admission. While that was going on there was a debate in the north and south over slavery. In the progress of all of this there was a rise in abolition which balance the power of senate to the south.

    While in Mexico Stephen Austin was titled "empresario". This state was not part of the other states yet so some people started to migrate to Mexico. Now there were some things Mexico wanted to let everybody know. Like slaves were forbidden while in Mexico, but that was ignored. Another one was in order to come to Mexico you had to be Catholic which just like the first rule it was ignored. So to stop all of this they ended American migration to Texas.

    During this election there were five candidates who wanted to become president. However the ones who were running for president were more important and their names were Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams. They say that Henry Clay helped John win the election.

    During this election there was feud between the two party's. The Democratic Party and The National Republican Party. Since John was with the Republican party he was kick out of the office. So Andrew Jackson went into office as the seventh president.

    This man was kind of crazy. While in Virginia he killed about 60 white men and about a grand total of 120 slaves were killed while in Virginia.

While there a group of Mexican soldiers ambush the place taking everyone hostage. Then they ended up executing everyone there as a warning to those who entered Texas.

So Sarah Grimke, who was a writer, help with equality for both men and women. Not only her two more females help her with the cause and their names are Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. What they did to help the movement was to get females education, property rights and a right to obtain a divorce.

    During this time it was an up and down ride for the U.S. First California became a free state, New Mexico and Utah became territories and then the Fugitive Slave Act was pass. This was a problem for slaves cause people will force others to hunt down runaway slaves.

    We need more space. Our country is getting loads of people everyday so buy doing this purchase the country expanded. This purchase gave us access to lower parts of Arizona and New Mexico.

    He was a free slave until he was sued for being a free slave living in a free territory. The reason he was sued cause back then when you was a slave you was consider as property to your owner. He appealed all of this to supreme court.

    This panic was caused by the California Gold Rush, the overproduction of grain and the over-speculation of the railroads. There was also failure of banks and businesses. People could not make or save money.

    Before this war even started, people thought that this war would be short and sweet. Man was they wrong. To start the war started at Fort Sumter in Charleston, South Carolina in April 12,1861. General Winfield Scott issued an Anaconda Plan during this time to squeeze the south into submission.

    It was at this time when General Lee decided to go on the offensive. Lee took his men and tried to encircle Washington D.C. at Antietam Creek. Lee failed at that and met General McClellan. They battled at Antietam Creek which was the bloodiest day of the war. Once Lee realize he could not win he retreated and McClellan did not follow.

    The Union decided to take the fight to Lee. Which was the army of Virginia. This caused an large offensive war. During this time Lincoln picks U.S. Grant to lead the Army of Potomac. There was loads of blood shed and many lives lost.

    During this time the 13th Amendment went into action. This amendment abolish slavery. Also it was at this time when President Lincoln was in huge jeopardy until General Sherman took Atlanta and Farragut took Mobile Bay in Atlanta.

    After the Union army capture Richmond, Lee surrender at Appomattox Courthouse in Virginia. After the surrender Lincoln order the southern states under military control until the reconstruction is complete.

    Lyman Trumbull, the one who issued this, says that only those who were born in the U.S. are citizens. Except Indians. Indians, even though they were the first people who were here before anybody else, still were not accepted as U.S. citizens. It was also when the 14th Amendment was issued which guarantees rights of citizenship to slaves and others born in the U.S.

    During this time the Confederate was divided into five military districts. Another thing is President Johnson blocks all plans that benefitted slaves.

    It was at this time in the west when George Custer wanted to make peace with the Indians, but an Indian named Sitting Bull opposed the peace and sent Red to fight Custer. At the end of the day Custer dies in battle.

When the Chinese or any other type of race that came over seas to America to find jobs people seen that there won't be any jobs for them so when this act was pass these people we're to be put on a island called Ellis Island, to be put though several check ups to see if they can go to America.
