The birth of a Marine
Wesley Fox is born in Herndon, VA and the first of ten children. -
Private 1st class
Wesley finishes boot camp at Paris Island, South Carolina. -
Promotion to Corporal
On March 21st Wes Fox was promoted to the rank of Corporal while fighting in Korea. -
Promotion to Sergeant
lessons learned as corporal:
"1 man attacking at a time is a tough way to gain an objective.
Elite units are wasted in the line when flank units can't maintain the pace." -
Requested combat duty
Fox requested duty with the FMF overseas and had to extend his enlistment. -
Platoon sergeant
This promotion made Fox become an SOG or the special ops group. -
Staff Sergent
lessons learned as Platoon Seargent:
"Integrity, dedication, and enthusiasm pave the road of leadership. Professionalism has a flavor; do all you can to improve the taste most young people do better if left alone to accomplish a task." -

Sgt Fox is one of the few NCos that I have seen that maintains his appearence at the optimum 100% of the time. His bearing and leadership inspire the men under him to preform outstandingly -
