Moss
Moss evolved from Algae and became the kind of land from of it. It took a while to evolve but it eventually got there, and once land cam along it started to grow there. -

Lycophtes
This plant came after moss almost 80 million years later. They were one of the first vascular plants that came along on earth. This opened up the amount of plants that could evolve from this species. -

Ferns
Ferns were easily able to evolve from Lycophytes and many species were able to grow and evolve. It was a short evolution from Lycophytes to ferns. -

Gymnosperms
This was one of the first seed plants. It opened the doors for many other plants to evolve from. They were vascular and could seed. Many plants were able to branch off and continue the evolution. -

Dicots
These evolved from gymnosperms and became flowering plants that allowed different evolution to occur. For this species, they were able to become one of the first flowering plants. -

Monocots
This species is similar to the Dicots but are not quite the same. They have different characteristics and looks even though they evolved from similar species. They are both flowering plants however and share something in that sense.
