Russian Revolution
The revolution of Russia was when citizens go on strike against the government of Tsar Nicholas II. They were led by Vladimir Lenin and people with a group of revolutionaries called the Bolsheviks. -
USA joins the war
America entered the war because Germany sunk many American ships. The ships were sank around Britain allies which caused America to start fighting in the war. -
Russia Surrenders
It started with the Bolshevik Revolution and communists overthrow the Russian government. After the country is overthrown Vladimir Lenin becomes the leader. This ultimately removes Russia from the war. -
Germany collapses
Due to the blockade, thousands of Germany citizens die from starvation and/or disease because they don’t have the supplies needed. This causes Germany to collapse. -
Treaty of Versailles and League of Nations
A treaty was signed ending the war in 1919. From this treaty, the League of Nations was made to keep peace within all countries.
