Lincoln was re-elected because people believe him when he reassured everyone that he was going to make sure it was a success. This took place at Baltimore, Maryland. In Lincoln’s Re-election the northerners were divided.

    Robert E. Lee surrender to Northern Virginia, on April 9, 1865. Robert surrendered because he didn’t want anything to happen to the south. Robert surrendered in Appomattox in Northern Virginia. When Robert E. Lee surrendered he stop the Civil War.
