Both sides of the war are stuck. Neither side gains a large advantage over the other. Any side could take more land with a large enoguh attack but neither side does so without causualties or sucess.

During the second battle of Ypres, German soldiers start using poison gas, allowing Germany to gain a large advantage over the Allies.

Tanks are first introduced to war at the battle of Somme providing easier transportation across no man's lands between trenches. The British used their new tanks to gain a large amount of ground at the battle and gave the Allies another success in the war.

British intellegence intercepts a telegram from Germany to Mexico. The telegram asks Mexico to join the war and fight against America if the Americans join the war. The British tell the United States whcih leads to the U.S. joining the war.

The United States enters World War 1 and joins the allies. With over 4 million new troops on the allied side, the Allies were on their way to victory.

Russia and Germany sign a peace treaty so that Russia can focus on their emerging civil war and so that Germany can focus its troops against the rest of the Allied Forces. Germany makes a small gain on the front and stand a chance at winnning once again.

Kaiser Wilhelm flees Germany and silently enters into the Netherlands where he lives out the rest of his life peacefully. German soldiers hopes of victory are crushed and moral of the soldiers is low causing some to even flee from battle. The Allies now have a major advantage.

Leaders of the waring nations meet and sign a peace treaty, officially ending World War 1.
