In Great Britain there was a huge cultural conflict between the protestants and the catholics. They had been fighting for some time so they decided to come to a truce. That is when Ireland was created for the catholics and Great Britain was for the protestants. -

OPEC stands for Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. Countries that are involved are Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The cause was economical. The purpose was to coordinate policies on selling petroleum products. -

Consists of the countries saudi arabia, afghanistan, most of the middle east, and north africa. the cause of the ico was cultural. it was supposed to promote islamic saidarity social, economic, and scientific activities. -
Soviet Union Devolution
The soviet union wanted to have an outstanding military force and protection of its country. So the former soviet union split up into russia, ukraine, tajikistan, georgia, latvia, armenic, and stonia groups to form one major super power. But they all broke up after the cold war. -
Yugoslavia Devolution
Yugoslavia was a legal successor and then was opposed by other federal republics. Then the presidential power was overthrown and was no longer Yugoslavia. That is when serbia and montenegro were formed, and they became allies for protection purposes. The cause was political.
