    The ancient Mayans created the first organized team sport consisting of a ball and a goal called the ballgame. They used a rubber ball 20 inches in diameter which weighed up to eight pounds. The Mayan's main sport was the ballgame. The ballgame s were an Important part of Mayan life.

    the Ancient Egyptians played wrestling, weight lifting, swimming, fishing, rowing, athletics, long jump, shooting, boxing, handball, javelin throw and a host of other sport activities. The Egyptians were enjoying their sport.

    Romans sport
    They didn't have the same sports we have today. They used the Colosseum for Mock sea battles, Gladiator battles, and chariot racing. They also loved blood sport with animals organs. They liked to watch men fight tigers and lions. And i can say usually they got entertainment out of watching the people lose. It was not very often the people won. The chariot races a lot of children were presentat.

Boxers padded their hands in cloth and fought until one of them was knocked out.Ancient Greeks loved sport and most cities in Ancient Greece had public gymnasiums where people gathered to train and relax. The Greeks believed that a healthy body was very important. Most men and boys practised sports every day because they enjoyed them and wanted to keep fit.
