End of seven year war: Royal Proclamation
The Royal Proclamation of 1763 is dealing with the land that Britain had after the seven year war which was issued in 1756.The British king George III created the Royal Proclamation of 1763. Using the Appalachian Mountains they created a boundary line between the British colonies and Native American territories.
Since Britain won the seven year war they made the rules and the patriots didn't like the rules and the loyalists were loyal to Britain and supported them during the American revolution. -

Tea act
Tea act is when sons and Liberty members dressed as Mohawk Indians and boarded three boats to destroy the tea. After that happened Britian made everyone pay taxes to be able to bring tea into the British colonies. That is when there was people called patriots who were people that went against Britian and the loyalist who were loyal to Britian and didn't protest against them. -
End of Americian revolution
Once the war was over Britian had lost to the Americans and French. The most active loyalist were no longer allowed to go into the us and had to move somewhere else in the British empire. Majority of the loyalist stayed in us and later moved to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and other places. -
Settlement of loyalist in Canada
The loyalist came to Canada in 1783 and 1784. The maritime provinces became home to 30,000. In 1784 the colonies of new Brunswick and Cape Breton were to deal with the entry of the large number of loyalist. a lot moved to different parts of Canada like Quebec, Ontario, St Lawrence River, Niagara Peninsula and Grand River.
