  • End of the 7 Year War

    During the Seven year war England was in debt and by the End of the Seven Year war England was drained of its money and they needed more money to pay for new wars so they started to increase taxes which caused the people of America to feel as if they didn't have much say in things that affected them. This started the American revolution. If the Seven year war had not happen England would still have a strong army and the Patriots might not have won.
  • Boston Masscre

    A group of British soldiers went to assist a soldier on guard who being harassed by a loud crowd of patriots throwing sticks and stones. These soldiers fired at the crowd which caused the death of several colonists. This event caused the locals to hate the presence of the unwanted British soldiers even more. This was on of the events that started the bigger fights between Patriots and Loyalists.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party was one of the many protests that happened during the American Revolution. In the night Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty boarded ships carrying tea from in the Boston harbor and threw 342 chests of tea overboard. They did this to fight against the tax that was put on tea. This resulted in pushing them closer to war.
  • The Capture of Fort Ticonderoga

    Although not a huge conflict Fort Ticonderoga was attacked by Patriots and since unexpected they won against the British soldiers. This was a small victory but a big one which would lead to the victory if the Patriots against the British.
  • End of the American Revolution

    When the Patriots won the American Revolution things weren't to good for the Loyalists. They started to loose their land and their overall livelihood and by this time most left to different parts of Canada.
