The Start of the LRA
The LRAAlice and KonyAlice Lakwena, was the starter of one of the rebellious groups in Uganda, until Joesph Kony took over her troops. Lakwena was defeated, and she flees to Kenya. Kony recruited her remaining forces and which later becomes the Lord’s Resistance Army, or the LRA. -

Sudanese Sudan started to have trouble with civil revolts so with no other costly choice the Sudanese government trades forces with the LRA. The LRA would help with goverment support while the Sudanese government would help with supplies. -
Losing hope
LinkTo prevent looting and abductions by the LRA, the Ugandan government forces more than two million people into protected villages. The LRA are still able to find these camps and steal and kill the people, whle the camps are getting to big to hold all of these people. -
Terrorist group
BushThe Untied States places the rebellious grout the "LRA" under a terrorist group. George Bush finally agrees to help this situation. No immediate action was taken by the US government, but the LRA was on the close lookout on how to stop Joesph Kony and save the kidnapped kids. -
Massacre
past massacreThe LRA rebels killed more than 330 civilians, most of the deaths were among the mothers trying to save their children and many children were killed also. The government comes in to a face to face talk, but they were unable to negotiate a peace treaty. Putting both the LRA on a surge through the jungle making attacks on the people of Uganda and other bordering countries. -
Kony plays Keep Away
RunningThe ICC issues for the arrests of Joseph Kony and his top four sergants. The LRA find out about their arrests and theyvmove into the northeastern Congo away from the Ugandan government. They traveled throught the vast jungle and the top leaders were heard to have changed their look in order to keep away from trouble. -
Peace Treaty
PeaceMuseveni ithe president of Uganda finaly is avle to negotiate a peace treaty with the one of the leaders of the LRA. Modern Uganda as the region begins to recover from two decades of war with the rebel group the LRA. However, northern Ugandans expresses frustration with the lack of implementation of the plan and many were unhappy with the consquences for the rebel group (LRA). -
Kony refuses
KonyThe Juba Peace Talks are suspended indefinitely after Kony refuses to sign a final peace agreement. Kony turns on the prior peace treaty and returns to his rebels casuing mayhem in many parts on Africa. While the hunt is still on for Kony and his troops. -
Escape
EscapeUgandan, Congolese, and south- ern Sudanese militaries launch a military attack against the LRA and try to capture Kony and his troops. Unfortuanley the mission was a fail and Kony finds out about the joined forces. In return, Kony kills hundreds of civilians. -

Now people all over the world have heard of the LRA and more particularly Joseph Kony. Now people are trying to spread the word about his wrong doings......SUP KONY?
