Miles leaves Florida in search of his 'Great Perhaps'. He moves to Culver Creek boarding school in Alabama, where he meets his new room mate Chip "The Colonel" Martin, who introduces him to Alaska while buying cigarettes.
His decision to move to Culver Creek was his way of breaking away from his parents, and starting over.. buiding a new life. -
127 Days Before ...
In the middle of the night, the 'Weekday Warriors' come into Pudges' and The Colonels' room and take Pudge. The Colonel, thinking it is just the regular 'initiation' they have at the creek, lets this happen. Pudge is taken down the the beach, taped up like a mummy, told he shouldnt be friends with the Colonel and is thrown in. He is able to make it to shore. Not knowing what to do, he goes to Alaska. But not knowing that he almost died, just laughs and tells him he needs to suck it up. -
110 Days Before
Miles gets yelled at by his teacher for not paying attention in class. He's kicked out of class, followed by Alaska who chose to stick up for him. After he recieves a lecture from his teacher on the importance of being 'present'. -
99 Days Before
Alaska, Pudge, Chip, and Takumi are all caught smoking on school grounds. They are sent to jury where colonel and Alaska take the blame - for a reason unknown to Pudge. -
76 Days Before
On their way back to the dorms, Colonel and Pudge find Alaska running through the rain in a rage. Some of the weekday warriors had poked a hole in her dorm wall, flooding the room and ruining her books. -
58 Days Before
Alaska convinces Pudge to stay at Culver Creek with her over Thanksgiving instead of going back home to see his family. -
51 Days Before
Alaska and Pudge figure out how to take revenge on the weekday warriors by pranking them back by switching all their hair products to blue hair dye. -
47 Days Before
Alaska and Pudge go to the colonel's trailor house to visit his mom for the holidays. This helps Pudge better understand the colonel. -
3 Days Before
The group plans a pre-prank so the eagle won't expect the legit one. They each tell the eagle they're going away so they can have an alibi. Instead they all stay the night at the barn after going through with their prank. Miles and Takumi set off fireworks to distract the eagle while Alaska sends out fake progress reports to the weekday warriors' parents. -
2 Days Before
The group plays best day/worst day and Alaska reveals how her mom died, and how she could've saved her but didn't. Later Pudge gets with Lara and they decide to become a couple. Later Lara sucks his weiner and it's awks. -
Alaska Dies Oh Man Plot Twist Lol Jk I Saw It Coming
Alaska, Miles and Chip are drinking in Alaska's room, Chip is like dead to the world and Alaska dares Pudge to hook up with her even though she has a boyfriend which is bad. What is she doing. She gets tired and leaves with a 'to be continued? (;' which gets Miles quite excited. She comes back to their room later freaking out. She asks Miles and Chip to distract the eagle because she needed to leave without being seen. -
The Day After
The Eagle calls for an assembly where he announces that Alaska was killed in a car crash. People flip. -
6 Days After
Alaska's funeral. Miles doesn't see her boyfriend there and is like what is this. -
7 Days After
The eagle asks Chip and Miles to clean out whatever Alaska's aunt wouldn't want to see in her dorm room before she comes and gets her stuff. When they go they find Alaska's favourite book 'The general and his Labyrinth', next to the line 'how will i ever get out of this labyrinth?' 3 words are written in Alaska's handwriting-'straight and fast.' Chip suggests for the first time that maybe Alaska's death wasn't an accident. -
13 Days After
Chip and Pudge go to talk to the police officer who witnessed the accident. He said there were white tulips found in the car. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?!?!?!? -
62 Days After
After investigating further by stealing the eagle's breathalizer to test how drunk Alaska was and talking to her boyfriend, Pudge finds the flowers drawn by Alaska on the payphone and connects it to the night of her death. -
102 Days After
The final prank: Miles and co. hire a male stripper for speaker's day in memory of Alaska. -
136 Days After
Miles gets a letter from Takumi after he leaves the creek saying he knew why Alaska left all along; she forgot the anniversary of her mom's death. It was still unknown whether her death was a suicide, however Miles comes to peace with the events regardless of her unknown intentions.
