School Bus
I was in kindergarten, arriving at school on the first day, my bus number was written on my hand. My bus number was written on my hand everyday after that for two weeks. -
My Name
Learning to spell my name. I was in kindergarten and considering my name isn't very long I don't believe it took too long to learn. -
Spelling Test
Ms. Hall was my second grade teacher. We would have spelling test's every Friday. If we were to spell a word wrong she would make us rewrite that word 5-10 times, in our best handwriting. -
Junie B Jones
I finished my first chapter book in second grade. The book was "Junie B. Jones and her Big Fat Mouth". -
Percy Jackson
Mrs. Dennis started reading the Percy Jackson series in 4th grade. Every day we would sit on the reading mat and she would read us a chapter everyday, sometimes more. We finished the series in fifth grade. -
Presentations
In fifth grade Mrs. Dennis and Mrs. Elliot had our class do presentations. We could present whatever we wanted. It was supposed to help us with public speaking. -
Teen Brain Essay
In 7th grade, Ms. Mort had the advanced class write an essay over the development on teen brains. We got to look at multiple documentary's, and articles. It was my first big essay assignment. -
Pitches
Each semester in Mrs. Reinhardt Honors English 1 class we had a writing assignment. We cold write whatever we want over whatever we want. Before we got permission on what we wanted to write we had to present a pitch. Our pitch had a minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes, we had to present our writing plan and explain everything. -
Mock Trial
In 8th grade I had an elective class, where we were assigned to read the Outsiders. We also got to watch the movie in class. She had set up a mock trial in which Pony Boy was a suspect for stabbing one of the "socs". -
Romeo & Juliet
In Mrs. Reinhardt's class, the third and fourth semester we had to read, and perform Romeo & Juliet. We were each given our specific parts. I was the maid. We also had to memorize the Romeo & Juliet prologue, and recite it in front of the class.
