Learning how to Read
I'm not exactly sure how I learned to read but I did pretty early as I most likely copied my sister(who's two years older than me). -
Learning how to Write/Literature
I learned how to write around when I learned how to read however I started practicing/learning literature around 1st Grade as my mom and dad forced me and my sister to do Brain Quest books in advance (In 1st grade I did the 2nd grade book) -
Reading the Magic Treehouse books
Around 3rd grade, due to my reading levels, I was suggested, by the teacher, to start reading Magic Treehouse books(so I did). Even up till now, that was most likely the most reading I did in a single year. The peak of my reading career basically. -
My First Essay
My first essay, that I remember, was in my 5th grade class in Mrs. Cannon's room. It was on some point in the Revolutionary War. Although I can't remember the contents I know that my essay was astonishing. -
My First Official (typed) Essay
My earliest essay that I could find was my Ron's Gone Wrong essay (based on a movie) in Mr Ladutko's class. The essay is not formatted correctly at all by my current essay standards. This is NOT an essay to remember and is going back in the vault(bottom of my Google Drive) -
ICEE Questions
Although there weren't many essays in 7th grade, ICEE questions were my demise. Although they were a key part of improving my essay skills, they were not very fun. -
Reading my First Novel out of School
I started my first full size novel, Love & Gelato(stole from my sister) in 2021. It was a pretty nice book until I lost it(turns out my sister took it) When I found it in 2022 I continued reading it but, as you may know, reading was not my strong suit so I did not finish it. In 2023 however, I finished the 300 page novel. -
My most recent Essay
My most recent Essay was the final for last year(10th grade) ELA honors. In my opinion, it was one of my best written essays yet.
