My grandmother used to take me to the library as an outing. I remember reading lots of nonfiction books about animals. -

I started to pick up books that interested me as a hobby to read. Such as hatchet, or the Harry Potter series. -
Writing short stories
I began having writing assignments in middle school. The creative short story writing was my favorite, I even did it on my free time occasionally. -
Essay Writing
The learning of essay writing began in middle school. I recall having to learn many different styles of writing, outlines, and types of essays. -
College Composition
Freshman year I took college comp. I enjoyed the course, even though it was writing intensive. It helped me get a grasp on college level assignments.
