    The French and Indian War
    The French and Indian war also know as the 7 years war but it was really 9 years. It was faught to control land in North America for the fish, fur, and natural resources. It was faught in North America near the colonies. It was between Great Britain and New France. This war made the King in a lot more debt than he was already in and both side lost many lives.

    The proclamation of 1763 was the with the colonists, indians, and the King. This was when the colnists couldn't have the land west of the Appalations to the Mississippi River. That was because the King was in debt after the war. That land would now be the indian hunting territory. That's what made the colonists mad at Great Britian. It also closed off colonial expansion.

    The sugar act was between the colonists and King George. This act passed in England but effected the colonists. This act was were King George put a tax on sugar and molasses. He did this because he was in debt and he needed more money. This was the very first tax in the colonies. Although this tax also got the colonists very mad at him
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    This act happened when King George took away the sugar act. The act passed in England by the King but effected the colonists in the colonies. King George put a tax on all paper products like newspapers and liscence. Since King George took away the Sugar Act he was still in debt so he made this act. The Sons of Liberty formed because of this act. The colonists were happy for a little while when he took the sugar act away but when he made this act they all got even more mad at him.
  • Townshend Acts

    Townshend Acts
    King George got the colonists because of these acts. These acts got taxes put on glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea. This tax got passed in England but affected the colonists. He made this tax happen because he took away the stamp act but he was still in debt so he made this tax. This tax made the colonists like him even less. The colonists got taxed on everyday items because of this tax. The colonists weren't to happy with this tax that Kin George made for them
  • Boston Massacare

    Boston Massacare
    The Boston Massacare happened in Boston on King Street. It was in between a group of British soldiers and a group of colonists. The colonists were mad at the soldiers so they started to throw snowballs at a soldier. The soldier called for help. All of the sudden there was a big group of soldiers and colonists. One of the soldiers fired and 5 of the colonists got killed. This is what started the Quarterinf Act and the colonists liked the soldiers even les.
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    This act involved the colonists and King George. This act was passed in England but effected the colonists. This act is where the colonist started smugling tea into the colonies. They were mad at the King for letting them only have one type of tea. The only type of tea they were allowed to have is BEI tea that was from the King. This made all the colonists mad at the King.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party was at the Boston Harbor. It was where the Sons of Libery dressed up as Mohawk Indians and dumped about 340 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. They did this because they didn't like that they could only have BEI tea. There were big crowds of people watching this event. The Sons of Liberty knew that the King knew it was them so they baisically dressed up for fun. They dumped BEI tea into the harbor. The King was so mad about this event that he closed the Boston Harbor .
  • The Ride of Paul Revere

    The Ride of Paul Revere
    Paul Revere went from Charlestown to a little after Lexington where he got stoped by British soldiers. On his midnight ride he met up with William Dawes. When they got stoped Presscott continued to keep going so everyone could know the British were coming. Samuel Adams asked Paul to go on this ride. He was going to tell people that the British soldiers were coming. Although he did get stop all of the colonists were prepared for the soldiers to come.
  • Declaration of Independence

    Declaration of Independence
    This was a really big deal for the colonies. This declaration seperated the colonies from the King's rule. They were so tired of King George telling them the things they can and can't do. This declaration made the 13 colonies become an independent country. Many people signed it like John Adams, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Robert Livingston, Rodger Sherman, and many other people. It was made in Philidelphia. This was a huge thing gor the colonies to do.
