Kindergarten
In Kindergarten, I remember learning to read from black and white picture books. They were printed onto paper. The one I remember the most is about a dog. I think it was called "See Spot Run". -
Dr. Suess
Dr. Suess books were always my favorite picture books, for as long as I can remember. -

THE BFG
I discovered the BFG in 6th grade and it easily became one of my favorite books.

Informal Book Club
After not reading for a while, my work formed an informal book club and we read Water for Elephants, Gone Girl, the Fifty Shades of Grey series, and the Twilight Series. -
When the switch flipped
During my time as a preschool teacher, I used to read "No, David." by David Shannon to my two year old kids.
A few years later, when I was subbing in a Kindergarten classroom, one of my old students read that book to me. It was amazing to see one child's progress first hand. -
