I Was Born!!!!
I was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico at St Vincent's Hospital. Forces and Pressures: My dad was going to graduate school and my mom had a teaching job. -
I Learned to Walk!
When I was about 14 months old, I learned to walk. -
Moved to Durango!
When I was about 6 months old, I moved to Durango and slept through the night for the first time-a relief for my parents! Forces and Pressures: We moved back to where we were from so my dad could start his acupuncture business. -
Sang a Song!
I sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with mom! Forces and Pressures: Just a typical day of being amazing. -
I Went Nordic Skiing!
I went to Hillcrest to go Nordic skiing for the first time. Forces and Pressures: My parents wanted to get me skiing early! -
Learned to Read!
I learned to read short words and phrases. Forces and Pressures: I used flash cards with the pictures on one side, and the word on the other-I remember cheating and looking at the picture for moose! -
Rode a Bike
I learned to ride my first bike without training wheels in the Needham parking lot. -
First Day of School
I started Kindergarten, and the same year, graduated 1st grade! Forces and Pressures: I neede to go to school and I had finished pre-school! -
First Burn
I picked up an iron by the hot part with my thumb. Forces and Pressures: My mom asked me to get the iron from upstairs to iron my melty beads, and I didn't know it was on. -
Moved
I moved from the Southeast part of town to the valley. Forces and Pressures: We wanted to move out of town. -
I Got Glasses!
I got glasses, but always forgot them. Forces and Pressures: I had extreme nearsightedness! -
Started Wearing Contacts!
I started wearing contacts for soccer. Forces and Pressures: Soccer started to get more serious, and I didn't want to get hit in the face with my glasses on! -
Middle School!
I started my first day of MIddle School! Forces and Pressures: I had finished 5th grade the year before! -
Our Own Kitty!
We decide to keep the stray cat who had come to our door the year before-she was ours now! Forces and Pressures: We put up posters and checked her fo a microchip-nobody claimed to be her owner. -
I'm so Excited
I'm super-duper excited for the next three days!! Forces and Pressures: My birthday is sooooo soon! -
