We are leaving from Port London. Today was a busy day on the docks of port London, there were a lot of dogs hanging around. I wouldnt be surprised if one was found a sow away. on th sea the men were excited and singing chantees, this trip was going to be a great one. -

Log Two:Canton China
We arrived in Canton China today. The people here seem very interested in us sailors. They kept offering us things like fish and bread when we walked on to the harbor. It was a little while before the person who wanted us to trade arrived. When he finnaly got here he showed us the tea cups and pottery we came for. After we made sure it wasnt broken, I had my men go get the steel we brought for the man. After he inspected it he thanked us and we all got back on the boat, ready for the nextport -

Life in Canton
The Chinese are easy going people, and like to live life the simple way. I dont know why they want steel but not my buissness. The peopls are poor looking, like they have little possetions. Most ov them live along the shore so they can sell things to newcommers the first chance they get. -

Log Three; Larne
Today we traded with a man named John and he gave us wood and gunpowder and helped repair our boat after we hit the dock a little. we decided to take a look around the island. One of my crew saw a little weasle like thing and a person walking by said it was a Stoat. Later after we looked around the town we got on the boat and heard up the coast. I think the men were getting tired of the trip because some fights keep breaking out on the boat. Over the stupisest things, they fight over. -

Most peole are shepaards here and like furs, thats why we traded them furs and us wool. The people of Ireland have a quick temper. The way they live is on th eland, they grow wvwrything themselves. But when they need things like furs they like to trade with us. -

We made it to Dublin and the trader was waiting for us with his crew. They got right to work. They put the wool on our boat and we got them their furs and skins. They really much liked them. We went to a pub in the woods. On our way out we saw 5 Grey wolves, all of us were at a stand still. Suddenly behind us a bottle was thrown at the wolves and they ran away.A lady told us just scare em off. The fights between the men on the boat are becoming worse. -
