Reached Ohio
In 1801 Johnny reached Ohio. He brought appleseeds down the Ohio River planting as he went along. He planted near a place called Licking Creek. He was very careful about where he planted his seeds, making sure to plant in rich, fertile land in an open area. Death
Johnny died in 1845. Some people say it was in the summer of 1847. There is discrepency around the date of his death.
