    Identity versus identity confusion is an interesting crisis where a young person will face two paths: one where they learn to establish an identity for themselves, or the other path of being a little lost and confused about who they truly are as a person.

    The 7th stage of Erikson's theory is of generativity versus stagnation.
    This crisis involves either helping others, trying to make the world a better place or the choice of not helping others, and just focusing on themselves and living a solitary life.
