To be a coach, you need to have the core classes. As far as math goes, classes such as Calculus 1 for Science Engineering, Analytic Geometry and Calculus, and Introduction to math modeling are also some math classes offered. Mostly any schools offer the classes such as UGA and University of Florida. http://bulletin.uga.edu/summer2008/bulletin/prg/core_curriculum.html

A masters in Buisness Administration is a very good thing to have but as far as math, the core classes are all that is needed. Two of the best schools to attend if you are interested in Sports Marketing are University of San Francisco and Ohio University.

WHAT IS THIS JOB LIKE?
Coaches help people learn how to play a sport. They start by teaching them the basics, such as proper form and technique. Coaches have practice sessions to do drills and improve the athlete's skills and stamina. They also manage the team during competition. They help motivate players to do their best, and get a lot of satisfaction from seeing kids succeed in their sport.

Sports marketing is made up of many different segmaents of work. There are the right holders who own and control events. Then there are the broadcasters that package and promote the events. There are the people in charge of the facilities and venues. Then there are the players and teams.
