New land found and James cook called it new holland
Captain James cook has discovered unknown land and he called it new holland which means no one owns it -
First fleet comes to Australia!
After captain James cook found new holland, he reported it to Britain and they heard so they had eleven ships come with the first fleet including captain authur Phillip. The first state colonised was New South Wales. -
Queensland and 3 other states are now colonised
By the end of 1830, the are 4 new states such as:
Queensland
Western Australia
Tasmania
And south Australia -
Gold rush
The gold rush is what made Australia multi cultral. It made Australia multi cultral because loads of people from other countries wanted to get gold and become rich. -
