Three Flags Day Ceremony in St. Louis, Missouri; the official transfer of the upper Louisiana Territory from Spain to France. After the ceremony Meriwether Lewis stayed in St. Louis with Pierre Chouteau and his family. -
Sioux Tribe
The Missouri indians were part of the soux tribe who were staying along the Mossouri River. Those Indian were farmers and Buffalo hunters. When Lewis and clark came to their town in the expadition many were away hunting buffalos. -

Sergeant Charles Flyod (causality)
Segean flyod was born in Kentukey and join the expadation in Aug 1 1803. Sergean Flyod was the only man to die in the lewis and clark expedation. They thought he die from a burst appendix. -
Fort Mandan
In the fall of 1804 Lewis and clark reached the Mandan villages where they stayed in Fort Mandan for the winter. The Mandan grew their own crops like corn, beans, and tabacco. Lewis and clark hope that the Mandan would recieve him, which the head leader of the Mander did. -

Sacagawea from the tribe of shoshone give birth to a baby boy named Jean Baptiste. Lewis give her this potion which was made by rattle snake shakers to help speed the baby's birth. -

Idaho
Facing the formidable Bitterroot Mountains of north-central Idaho, the expedition was rescued from starvation and befriended by the Nez Perce tribe. After the expedition retrieved, they asigned their horses to the Nez Perce and set off in cottonwood canoes for their epic journey to the Pacific Ocean. -
Shoshone tribe
In 1805 Lewis and tree other men met a tribe named Shoshone. When the Shoshone women met them, they were scared of them because he had a gun. When he put his gun down they realised that he was friendly and Shoshone treaded them as thier guest. -
Becomes ill
Some men on the expedition including Lewis got sick from eating a lot camas and salmon.They got so sick that they plop them selfs on the road. Clark give a lot of pills out to the people that needed it. -

Fort Clatsop
While the stay at Fort Clatsop was peaceful, it was not entirely pleasant. The Clatsop Indian tribe was friendly, but Clark wrote that the Indians were hard bargainers, which caused the expedition to loss its supply of gifts and trading goods, rapidly and eventually caused some resentment on both sides -
killed a person from a native tribe.
On July 26 they headed Missouri, but on their way they saw eight Black feet warriors. They decided to camp with them, the next day Lewis and his whole team caught the warriors trying to steal guns and horse. On that day, two warriors were killed and that was the one and only fight they had with a native tribe. -
