Boston Tea Party
American colonists were frustrated with Britain because they imposed "taxation without representation", so they dumped 342 chests of tea, that was imported by the British East India Company, into the harbor. It showed the British that the Americans weren't going to just take them forcing them to pay taxes for no reason. -
