    To fully gain independence from Britain, The revolutionary war was fought until the Treaty of Paris was signed ending it all. The war lasted seven years.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The Boston Massacre first began as a street fight between some locals and a British Soldier, until more soldiers came for back up. Then a gun shot was fired from the soldiers but no one knows who actually did it. Many locals died that day, that next week the soldier's were put to death from trial.
  • Boston Tea Party

    American colonists were angry at Britain for imposing a tax of British Tea, so they dumped three-hundred forty-two chests of British Tea into the harbor as payback.

    These laws were passed to punish the American colonists for the Boston Tea party move. The five Intolerable Acts consist of, The Quartering Act, The Boston Port Act, The Administration of Justice Act, The Massachusetts Government Act, and The Quebec Act.

    The United States Senate and the House of Representatives met up to talk and construct the foundation of the Constitution. It took about a month to figure everything out but by October 26, 1774 the meeting was over.

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord pretty much started the Revolutionary War. When British troops marched into nearby Concord and that's when Paul Revere and other troops sounded the alarm.
