    Proclamation Line
    The Promclamation Line of 1763 was a line created by the British after the French and Indian war to seperate the 13 colonies from going anymore west. Which is bad for the colonists because they can't go to the Ohio River Valley which is big for animal furs and beaver pelts. This angers the colonists.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    This was an event on March 5, 1770 which is when five colonists were killed by British soldiers. The British soldiers were not ordered to fire upon them but they were angered and did so. From American's view of the event and the British are totally different ways of describing it. In neutral both sides were attacking eachother.

    The Tea Act was passed in 1773 to start taxing the colonists on tea, This angered the colonists and they began to boycott the tea and sooner or later this lead to the Boston Tea Party.

    The Intolerable Acts were a series of laws passed by the British Parliment in 1774. These laws stripped Massachussetes of there rights and this triggered outrage and resistance throughout the 13 colonies, these laws were key to the Revolutianry War in 1775. This also created the Continetal Congress.

    Lexington and Concord
    Lexington and Concord was an event where the British had a secret plan to go into Concord and take the colonists weapons and leaders of the resistance, The Americans found out and they were prepared and ready to defend themselves against the British soldiers. The soldiers were stopped in Lexington by colonists and fought and in that time the Americans moved all the weapons away from Concord and moved them to a safe place. This event raised the colonists morale greatly,
  • Decleration of Independence

    Decleration of Independence
    The Decleration of Independence was signed on July, 4th and it was signed to declare to the world that the colonists were splitting off from England and becoming there own country. They all signed it and sent it to the king in England, this starts the Revolutinary War.
