    This declaration drafted many human rights the French people thought where important. It was drafted by the National Assembly. Many folks from America found this very influential to their declaration including Thomas Jefferson.

    Louis Calls the Estates-General
    This was the first meeting since 1614 of the French Estates-General. The meeting was called to fix the country's financial problem. This resulted in Louis locking out the 3rd estate.

    Since being locked out by the king, the third estate made a makeshift council room in a tennis court. Calling themselves the National Assembly. This started the French Revolution with the humiliation of the king.

    The Bastille was a holding place to several inmates and guns/weapons. It also held a figure of monarch power in Parris. Once this prison was stormed it showed the mind of the revolutionaries and acted as a starting point.
