    Horses were used for various ways during World War 1. They fought on horses using guns and swords. Horses were very useful in the war. They carried wounded soldiers, and they also had special horses called atillery horses that carried weapons.

    Dogs were a very big part of WW1. They helped find wounded or dying soldiers in help. They helped carry medical equipment to soldiers. Some of them were trained to do a special job, they sit beside a dying soldier and kept them company.

    They used this as a weapon, they use it to break through both sides of the trenches. Both side began to use gas. To protect against gas attacks troops were required to carry gas masks with them at all times.
