In the Great Grape Boycott Filipino workers around the Delano, California area wanted a 15 cent wage increasein hourly wage. They asked The Mexican American farmworkers to help out and Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez agreed and 5,000 grape workes left ther job.This strike last for 5 years.
