Mexico wouldn't let Texans pase to Velasco so the Texans a battle broke out and forced the Mexicans to surrender the battle. -
The COME-AND-TAKE-IT Flag in the Battle of Gonzales
The Gonzales Volunteers made a surprise attack at dawn to the Mexicans. The Texans empowered a flag while fight naming the COME-AND-TAKE-IT Flag. The Mexican army's mission was to posses the canon but they retreated with no canon and the Texans soldiers won. -
The Goliad Campaign
About 50 soldiers marched to Goliad to fight the Mexican army. The army defeated the MExican arm in about 30 minutes with a surprise attack. They captured the Presidio La Bahía
