The Beginning of Laptops
In the 1970s "Alan Kay of the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center" dreamt that one day there would be a portable computer that you could take with you anywhere, that's the size of a notebook. It was named the Dynabook. Unfortunately, it never made it passed sketches and a cardboard model.

The First leap
In 1979, "William Moggridge of Grid Systems Corporation" designed the computer but it was made 3 years later where it became the first working portable computer. Osborne 1
The first consumer laptop was said to be the Osborne 1 and was invented by Adam Osborne. This laptop was 24 pounds and cost $1795. -
