Boats
Boats are created watercraft that rage from different sizes designed to float. They’ve helped humans go to one place to another since the earliest times.
The first boat ever invented that we know of was called the Pesse canoe, which was essentially made out of a hollowed tree trunk from a tree called Pinus sylvestris, which also is called Scots pines. And were used between 8200-7600 BC. Boats were used between 4000 and 3000 BC in Sumer, ancient Egypt and in the Indian Ocean. -
3500 BCE
Horse and wagons
While its difficult to pinpoint when humans first began domesticating horses as a way of getting around or to transport goods, experts generally go by the emergence of a certain biological and cultural marker that indicate when such practices started to take place. Based on the shifts in settlement patterns, historic depictions, and many other factors, experts believe that domestication took place around 4000 BC. -
Steam machines
The Watt steam engine, developed between 1763 and 1775, Watts engine was the first american designed steam engine, was an improvement on the design of the 1712 newcomen steam engine, and was a key point in the industrial revolution. -
Steamboats
The inventor of the world's first steamship was a french man by the name of Claude de Jouffroy, but despite successfully making trips up and down the river there wasn’t enough interest to fund further development.
Though there were many other inventors that tried to make steamships that were practical enough for mass transport, but it was American Robert Fulton that created the technology to were it was commercially viable. -
Locomotives
One type of land transport powered by a steam engine that did go mainstream was the locomotive. In 1801, British inventor Richard Trevithick unveiled the world's first road locomotive and called it the “Puffing Devil.”
It was in 1804 though that trevithick demonstrated for the first time a locomotive ran on rail when another locomotive he built hauled ten tons of iron to the community of penydarren in wales to a small village called Abercynon. -

Railroads were invented in 1831 by George Stephenson

Automobiles
The history of the automobile is very rich and dates back to the 15th century when Leonardo da Vinci was creating designs and models for transport vehicles. There are many different types of automobiles - steam, electric, and gasoline - as well as countless styles. Exactly who invented the automobile is a matter of opinion. If we had to give credit to one inventor, it would probably be Karl Benz from Germany. Many suggest that he created the first true automobile in 1885/1886. -
Modern machines
today’s transportation is far more superior than what transportation use to be. Now and days we have trains that can go 320 km and travel underground. And we also have gigantic ships that can carry hundreds of people.
