  • Lake Te koo utu

    In the 1880s king tawhiaoo lived at lake te koo utu on the hill in a little hut. The people that also lived there would run from lake Te koo utu to the land court it is the museum. they also used to wash them selves in the lake. it also has a fuel bunker up on the hill
  • Cambridge town hall

    In the middle of the town of Cambridge there is the town hall on Victoria street next to the clock tower it was made in 1909.
  • The fuel bunker

    During WWII and the threat of a Japanese invasion in the South Pacific efforts to defend New Zealand were increased in 1942 Cambridge was chosen as a suitable location for a secret aviation fuel depot called aviation reserve 9 this concrete pump house and the large depression at the top of the hill are all that remains of the depot. The fuel tank was emptied in 1946 and removed in 1950 in the 1970s the pump house was sealed
