    The bread and wine are symbols of nourishment
    The bread is a symbol of the Eucharist and represents life
    The laying of the hands represents the calling down of the spirit
    The white garment is used as a symbol because the color white symbolizes purity and clean of sin
    Fire and light is another symbol of the Eucharist because it represents Gods purifying presence. It also represents the light of Christ.
