President Truman orders troops to fight and support South Koreans. -

Chinese outnumber the UN and push UN and South Korean forces out of North Korea. China and North Korean capture South Korean capital. -
Apr 1951
UN and South Korea make advances back to the 38th parallel and recapture the capital of Seoul. -
July 1953
After negotiating for a couple of years,North Korea and South Korea signed an armistice
