    Amir and Hassan are encountered by a neighborhood bully(Assef)in which he threatens to hurt Hassan and beat up Amir and make them both suffer.However when Hassan is felt so threaten he stand up for poor Amir.For intense, "Hassan held the slingshot pointed directly at Assef's face"(42).As this demonstrates and goes to show, even though Hassan was very much scared he stood up for Amir which showed a little sense of love and friendship relationship between both Hassan and amir.

    As almost every year in Afghanistan,Amir and Hassan both celebrate the strong Kite fighting tournament.In which Amir is the Kite fighter and Hassan is the Kite runner.In one of the scene Amir is down to his last opponent, both kites barely standing, the crowd roaring at both of them in anticipation of joy, as Amir makes one of a kind of moves he manages to defeat the other kite and win(66).In which now Hassan runs and catches the kite to bring back home and celebrate.The kite flying tourname-

    Essentially what happens throughout, is Hassan is spotted when he was running to find the kite.Into which he is ganged up on by Assef's posse and is tormented and sexually assault by Assef.Amir encounters the whole experience but is completely in the state of shock and does not stand/ help Hassan."I stopped Watching, in the end I ran, I ran because I was a coward,I was afraid of assef and what he would do to me"(77).This strongly symbolizes Amir/ his character and how he left Hassan.A sense or C

    Amir frames Hassan by placing the money and watch under his mattress.As a result Baba ultimately decides to forgive and believe Hassan.Which at the end leads to Hassan and Ali leaving Amir and Baba."Then I understood: This was Hassan's final sacrifice for me"(105).From what this is symbolizing is that the sacrifice Hassan is giving for Amir, Hassan last and final friendship love to amir.

    After Hassan being framed, Ali decides that if anyone else know's they will be referred as to stealers and/or bandits, so they leave.Leaving Baba in disbelief and Amir in shock."I loved him in that moment, loved him more than I'd loved anyone, and I wanted to tell them all that I was the snake in the grass, the monster in the lake"(110).Both in the state of forgiveness Baba and Amir, It was like losing something apart of them.

    We are first introduced into the The Kite Runner by many of the main characters such as,Amir,Baba,Rahim Khan,Hassan and Ali.In which Amir is represented as Timid and weak(afraid to stand up for himself), but intelligent."I see how they push him around, take his toys from him, give him a shove here, and a whack there.And you know, he never fights back,just drops his head and..."(22).This portraits basically a sense of amirs timidness, as he shy's away from everything that frightens him.

    As Amir and Baba adjust to their new lifestyle, Amir is left feeling a sensation that he never truly felt in a long time.Love, He admires Soraya a lady that works with, and they decide to get married."It is love, Soraya I love you"(167).

    As Amir and Soraya are happily married, Baba sickness worsens, until which they find out he has lung cancer.Baba does not want to go through any treatment, and decides to wait until he dies.Giving Amir no choice but to stand there and watch his father pass away."Then I will take care of you"(178).Even though this ultimately saddened Amir, It brought Amir and Baba's relationship closer, than they ever were.

    Even though Amir is still in despite after the fact Rahim never told Hassan and him were brother, Amir still listen to Rahim and goes to find Sohrab. Once again,Amir returned to find Sohrab and go throughs a big deal of trouble,to, to looking everywhere in town from finding out that one of the Taliban leader was his childhood bully, Assef. Amir is forced to fight in order to rescue Sohrab."You're safe Sohrab, here with me"(278).As this shows,Amir's love towards rescuing Sohrab.

    Despite the adoption process amir has to go though in order for him too bring Sohrab to the U.S, amir and Soyara find a way and safely go back to the United States.""For you a thousand times over"(371). illustrating that Amir unconditional love for Sohrab and passion towards him.In the scene where Amir run's the kit for Sohrab.

    As this is told by Rahim Khan, Amir is infuriated by that fact that Rahim Khan or Baba never told Hassan was his half brother.AS this drives him away from Rahim Khan and make Amir incredibly mad for Theft of his right to live, Amir leaves Rahim Khan."How could you not tell me Hassan was not my half brother, you stole my right of truth"(225).
