Cham Kingdom invades much of Khmer Empire’s eastern territory
The king of Cham, Jaya Indravarman the 4th had invaded the Khmer twice, once in 1177 and another in 1178. The first was a suprise attack with a sailing fleet going up the Mekong river, across Tonle Sap and up the Siem Reap River.
